Tell us a mantra you live by

"Nothing is ever going to get handed to you, go and get it."

img

How did your creative journey begin?

"Honestly, my father! He would let me prance around our house with his Canon film camera and I would take photos. Note I was around 5 years old, so every photo was about 3 feet high."

img

What are you currently working on now?

"Working with new mediums. I have been wanting to shoot with polaroid backs on medium format cameras for a long time, and now I have that time to work on that!"

img

What inspires you?

"The one thing I can always count on inspiring me is a great sunset. We can always rely on the sun setting each day, and every day it gives us a new experience to watch unfold. The colors, the feelings, the reflections, everything."

img

Describe the perfect day at work?

"A really good crew! When we are all in sync and know the goal, that's the best. I always aim to achieve that great sync on set."

img

What's the most fulfilling thing about being a creative?

"Being able to have my own voice in the creative process. I have been very grateful that most of my clients are interested in my thoughts and ideas when we are scheming up a project. My clients have given me a ton of trust, and I can't thank them enough, especially being as young as I am."

img

As a creative, what is the hardest thing you've had to deal with/ are still dealing with?

"Being young, which is a dumb excuse. Well, it's not an excuse at all actually, it's just a matter of fact. People have definitely been stunned when I would say my age in the past. People have even fully doubted me for working on certain projects."

img

What's the best piece of advice you can give?

"Keep busy! Always be doing something, submitting something, shooting something. Nothing can get done if you are sitting and waiting. Put yourself in positions that no is never the solution."

img

What is your ART✰BISH momentrand

"Within the past couple months, I have shot 6 covers, and shot an editorial for Vogue! Those projects alone were so exciting. It was getting pretty crazy, since last Fall, I had a cover for every month/season ! It feels amazing!"
